Passers -by can now admire the freshly renovated facade, who are enthusiastic about red and green accents for half -timbering and windows. After one and a half years of intensive work, which were peppered with unforeseen challenges, the historic building is about to complete. On the ground floor, the city administration's citizens' office will soon move in, while the builders will still discuss the final color design.

The renovation of the monument built in 1597 comprises numerous measures, including the installation of an elevator and the creation of additional escape routes, all in close coordination with the monument authority. Historical elements such as the stairs and the masonry remain visible, while the windows were extensively restored and supplemented with modern thermal insulation windows. However, the biggest challenge is still ahead: the restoration of the "blue room", which is equipped with a precious ceiling painting. Work in this special space is expected to take a lot of time. The main street remains closed for the time being to facilitate the transport of materials. The six barrier -free apartments are to be rented out in spring, while the construction costs are already above the original calculation, since surprises appeared again and again.
