Midsommar rock in quantities: a festival full of color and music!
The Midsommar rock in Schillergarten Mengen, created a loving community event in the heart of the city on Saturday, July 20th. From 2 p.m., visitors were able to experience a colorful children's program that ranged from a magic show to a Kasperle Theater, everything organized by Ronny Balloni.
A festival for the whole family
The event attracted numerous families who spent the afternoon with their children and enjoyed the entertainment. The dance performances of the groups "United Grovers" and "Urban Riddimz", led by Ali Tunc from the United Identity association, also offered a colorful variety and strengthened the community spirit among the guests.
Musical highlight for the region
The musical entertainment continued after a short rain break at 5 p.m. with the Rock Heads from Biberach, which gave the nostalgic hits of the 70s and 80s. This music genre addresses a particularly large number of people because it arouses memories of past times. At around 8:30 p.m. the Mengenen band Grantchester Meadow, who got an enthusiastic audience in motion and got the Schillergarten to shake.
Appreciation for the organizers and helpers
The success of the Midsommar rock would not have been possible without the support of many partners and employees. Timo Kuchelmeister from TK Eventservice, the Pizzeria three king, the "KultiMiss" grill car and the team of the Pub-Café, which provided a varied and tasty range of food and drinks. The after-show party in the Locations Pup Café and Chaiselongue was well received by many guests and contributed to the sociable atmosphere.
Thank you to the city and the supporters
The work of the municipal building yard, which ensured smooth preparation and follow-up of the festival, must be particularly emphasized. The companies Schneider Schirme and Bacher Metallbau also deserve recognition for the provision of parasols and beer table sets that contributed to the design of the festival. The event itself was an excellent opportunity to celebrate the joy of life of the quantity of community and to maintain valuable social contacts.A successful day for everyone involved
Satisfied faces and happy laugh were the reward for all the effort. Over 500 guests celebrated together and enjoyed the sense of community, which made this special day special. The city would like to thank everyone who took part and is looking forward to future festivals of this kind.
