Change of board at Sparkasse Pfullendorf-Meßkirch: Knaus abruptly released!

The Sparkasse Pfullendorf-Meßkirch has separated from its board member Carsten Knaus. The Board of Directors ended its contract with immediate effect, as the Sparkasse announced in a message. Details about the reasons were not given. The mayor of Pfullendorf and head of administration Ralph Gerster asked for understanding that one did not want to comment on the circumstances, reports www.schwaebische.de .

Martin Henkenius, deputy member of the board, will temporarily take on the tasks of Knaus until a new board is found. Knaus has been in office since 2011 and worked with CEO Hubert Rist, who resigned at the end of the month. From November 1st, Jörg Schreiber will take over RISTS posts. The Sparkasse planned to strategically reorganize itself together with the new board member, which indicates changes in the management area.
