New traffic flow: Ramp on the smart area brings relief!

Böblingen, Deutschland - The path from the Breuninger Land in Sindelfingen to the Böblingen center is free again! Drivers can now use the new ramp on the smart area to get to Böblinger/Sindelfinger Straße. If you come from the east, first cross the new bridge over the highway and then drive over the ramp. An important change: drivers who have been turned from Böblingen downtown to Leibnizstrasse have to change - in the future this is only allowed to do pedestrians and cyclists.

The construction work in Leibnizstrasse are part of the six -lane expansion of the A 81, which is coordinated by the Deges. The old bridge was demolished in February, and the new bridge has been released for traffic since December 2023. However, drivers cannot yet drive on Leibnizstrasse to Wolfgang-Brumme-Allee, since this section still has to be built.

In the meantime, the blocking of the Böblingen-Ost junction, which is expected to take until spring 2025, ensures chaos in traffic. The city of Sindelfingen plans a changed traffic light circuit to defuse the traffic jams on the Goldbach Bridge.
