Future vision exhibition: Sindelfingen presents hospital areas!

The city of Sindelfingen opens its doors for an exciting public exhibition! From October 16 to November 17th, all citizens in the “cultural area” of the Stern Center can marvel at the creative designs for the conversion of the former hospital area. Monday to Saturday, between 8:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., visitors are invited to explore the impressive ideas that promise a sustainable and modern development of the approximately eight hectare area.

The competition, which was carried out in two phases, culminated on October 9, when the jury selected the best concepts. The first place went to the Studio Wessendorf in cooperation with the Grieger Harzer Dvorak landscape architects, as a pioneer in the redesign of the area into an urban, livable neighborhood. The exhibition not only shows the award -winning designs, but also numerous other innovative planning that illustrate the potential of the site to create a climate -neutral, social and economically sustainable district.
