Poco opens Neuer Markt in Speyer: A top -class shopping experience!

In Speyer, the new Poco furniture store opens its doors and brings a breath of fresh air to the region. The furniture discounter reached deep into its pockets and invested a total of 3.5 million euros in the conversion of a location that was previously known as Möbel Boss. The market, which is located at Iggelheimer Straße 28, has developed splendidly in the past few months, and the anticipation for the opening is noticeable.

With a wide range, Poco wants to meet the needs of consumers in the front palatinate. Customers will find a variety of products on a sales area of around 3,800 square meters, from electrical appliances to renovation needs. Martin Kritter, the market manager, and Björn Wießmann, sales manager, is enthusiastic about the successful renovation: "It is something special to experience this from the shell to the finished state," says Wießmann, who is responsible for over 15 markets.

anticipation for the new opening

This next Saturday Poco is celebrating great reopening. The festivities are accompanied by a car raffle and various events. As early as Thursday and Friday, the market opened its doors for the first customers as a precaution and thus offers a “cold start” to tune the employees at the opening. The 35 employees who will work in this new market have tackled vigorously in the past three weeks to prepare everything for the opening.

"It is slowly tingling," says Wießmann, describing the anticipation that has become noticeable in the last few days before the great event. The decision to invest in Speyer is based on a profound analysis of the region, which according to press spokesman Thomas Horschler is considered exciting and promising. One strives to gain a foothold in the city in the long term and explain: "The location -bound trade can have a good future."

strategic orientation of poco

With the Neuer Markt,

Poco also pursues a strategic realignment in order to meet the requirements of modern consumers. The furniture manufacturer has separated yellow from the bright company color and is now relating to Bordeaux and anthracite to better show the value of the goods. Horschler explains: "Some customers had not noticed the value of the goods." The focus is particularly on that despite the discount character, the quality does not move into the background. There are around 130 branches nationwide, and Poco plans to expand the catchment area up to 45 minutes to expand Speyer.

Another central element of the new market concept are the showrooms that enable an appealing presentation of the products. In this way, Poco wants to address customers who value quality, even if they have to pay attention to the price. "Customers pay attention to every cent and still look for optimal quality," summarizes Wießmann.

The new market is not only a place for shopping, but should also be an experience for customers. With special events such as music, face painting and a “Red Carpet event” for the opening, visitors are addressed in a special way. On Monday, the day after the opening, the market will also be open until 8 p.m. to give everyone interested the opportunity to take a look at the new Poco.

Everyone is looking forward to starting the new chapter in the history of Poco in Speyer and customers can also look forward to diverse offers and a pleasant shopping atmosphere. The furniture store discounter is doing everything possible to become an integral part of the local retail landscape. The opening is under the sign of a committed staff that starts well prepared in the new adventure.
