Scarpello fights back: bronze hero with large World Cup goals!

Georgios Scarpello, the 22-year-old wrestler from Villingen-Schwenningen, ready for a new competition after being missed the European Championships and Olympic qualification of the adults due to illness. At the U23 European Championships 2022, he won bronze and is now aiming for the next medal at the U23 World Cup. He is supported by his great role model Frank Stäbler, a world champion who serves as a source of inspiration.

Scarpello likes to remember his modest beginnings in a small, old hall of BSV Schwenningen. "It was like Rocky. You could never climb the stadium, risk collapse," he says, showing his passion for sport and the unshakable will to continue fighting despite earlier setbacks. His next challenge is already around the corner, and the Ringerwelt looks excited about its upcoming achievements. Further insights into Scarpellos cars and goals can be found here .
