Burglary in Gilchinger cleaning causes a stir in the community
The residents of Gilching were shocked when they learned from a break -in into a local cleaning on the Roman road. A previously unknown perpetrator violently entered the business on the night from Saturday to Sunday and caused considerable damage.
The burglar initially unsuccessfully tried to pry off the back door of the business, but caused damage of around 200 euros. Ultimately, however, he managed to penetrate the shop over an open window on the back of the building without leaving visible traces.
Inside the cleaning, the perpetrator went into the checkout area and stolen cash in the amount of a few hundred euros from the cash register and a piggy bank. In addition, he stole clothes from customers worth over 1,000 euros. The owner of the cleaning now urgently asks all customers to pick up their cleaned clothing in order to be able to narrow down the damage.
The Gauting police have taken up the investigation and asks witnesses who have made suspicious observations on the night of burglary urgently. Information can be given on 089/8931 33-0 to the local police station.
