Peter Maffay secretly rehearses in Pöcking for a big farewell tour!

Peter Maffay and his band have prepared for the big farewell stadium tour in the Pöckingen community center, the Beccult. For 14 days, the otherwise rather tranquil location turned into a rehearsal room, while the preparations for the stage show were in full swing. Maffay not only performed with his band, but also received support from pop star Anastacia. According to the host Albert Luppart, everything went discreet and smoothly without the rehearsals being disturbed.

A total of over 30 people were at work, including musicians, technicians and producers. The structure of a satellite bowl was particularly impressive to transfer live data to Mannheim, where the stage was configured. Maffay, who held out despite an infection, thanked a (half) public trial concert for around 100 invited guests, which was an emotional farewell experience for everyone present. The host of the Beccult, Dominic Bernhard, described the atmosphere as a family and relaxed, although the tension climbed when Anastacia arrived.
