With fresh vigor: HSG Tills Löwen starts the new season strongly
Ratzeburg - HSG Tills Löwen is ready for a new challenge in the top division season. Since July 1, the team has been training under the experienced coaching team Ammen and Janowski, supported by Dennis Peipers. The players regularly come together for four training sessions per week to prepare optimally for the start of the season on September 14th.
The first game is a real yardstick for the lions. In front of a home backdrop, the team meets HSG Mönkeberg-Schönkirchen, which relegated from the former Oberliga Hamburg/Schleswig-Holstein last season. This promises to be an exciting duel that is of great importance for both the lions as well as for the HSG Mönkeberg-Schönkirchen.
a strong team - newcomers and returnees
An important aspect for the HSG Tills Löwen is that there were no exits. Instead, the team won five new talents that have integrated well. The newcomers include Jasper Steingrübner from HSG Ostsee Neustadt/Grömitz, Linus Stegen from the Bundesliga A-Youth of HSV Hamburg, Mats Puchert from U23 of VfL Lübeck Schwartau and the Eigenwäch Philipp Eisenberg, who was able to intervene again in the last second half of the season.
A special mention deserves goalkeeper Lennart Börngen, who joined the HSVH from the U19 of the HSG, but is only available until October, since he will start his studies during this time. In addition, captain Felix Hirth and Fabian Rüger, who could not play a game due to injury, are on the best way to be fully operational. The overall condition of the team promises an exciting season than ever.
preparation for high tours
The preparations are in full swing. A training camp in Mölln and Ratzeburg is scheduled for the weekend from September 6th to 8th. In addition, test games are scheduled, including a duel against the A-youth of the AMTV Hamburg. Team manager Axel Hirth is enthusiastic about the atmosphere in the team: "I rarely experienced such a fantastic atmosphere before one season." Nevertheless, he remains realistic and emphasizes that injuries can quickly change everything.
The HSG Tills Löwen is one of the favorites in the top division and focuses on the upcoming challenges. The relegations from the ex-Oberliga, the HSG Mönkeberg-Schönkirchen and TSV Kronshagen, are considered serious competitors. HSG Holsteinische Switzerland, HC Treia/Jübek, SG Bordesholm Bruges and the MTV Herzhorn are also in the extended favorite group. The chances are good that the HSG Tills can free themselves from any fear of relegation and play a more successful season than in previous years.
