Penguin Random House relies on site fusion: efficiency for the future!
The Penguin Random House Verlagsgruppe, one of the largest public publishing groups in German-speaking countries, has chosen the innovative content management system (CMS) sitefusion. This step will enable efficient management of production data and improved collaboration with external service providers. With around 900 employees and around 2,500 titles published annually, the publishing group previously represented a major challenge: systematic administration and easy access to production data.
"Sitefusion has the potential to support our future growth requirements," explains Susanne Senz, Dam manager of the publishing group. After intensive evaluation, the choice fell on site fusion, which convinces with an integrated workflow engine and user-friendly design. After a successful Proof-of-Concept, the publishing group went live with the new system just a few months after the decision. The highlights include the standardizable workflow engine, transparent metadata management and a safe portal for external service providers. These measures aim to make the publication processes of the future even more efficiently, reported www.pressbox.de .
