Ms. Yamamoto is still there: loneliness and humor in the Stuttgart Theater

The Schauspiel Stuttgart inspires with the German premiere of Dea Loher's new play "Ms. Yamamoto is still there". In search of loneliness in modern life, an impressive scenario unfolds on stage. The spectators are invited to immerse yourself in a world in which the thoughts circle and the coexistence leads to questions of life and transience.

The 87-year-old Nicole Heesters shines in the role of the reserved title heroine, who acts with remarkable lightness and without sentimentality. Director Burkhard C. Kosminski and his team brings the emotional depths and the comedic in the text to shine. The piece, which is told in 20 short scenes, deals with acute topics such as loneliness and interpersonal relationships and lets the audience linger about the further thoughts.

The idea of the quality staging is supported by the creative costumes of Ute Lindenberg and the innovative stage design by Florian Etti. The first performances are already on October 14, 15, 31 and on November 1, 5 and 6, 2024.
