Schwanheim chooses new local mayor: Tradition meets renewal

In the small community of Schwanheim, which belongs to the Hauenstein community, an important decision was made about the future of the location. In the recent election, Herbert Schwarzmüller was able to assert himself again and thus starts his fourth term as a local mayor. This result not only reflects the trust of the citizens, but also the close cooperation in the place.

Schwarzmüller, who had announced his willingness for a further term before the local election on June 9, 2023, did not start election himself. Instead, he gave the newly elected municipal council the freedom to decide on his re -election. At the constituent meeting of the municipal council last week there was a unanimous election: Schwarzmüller and his three deputies were elected without a vote. This unanimous support shows that the 572 residents of Schwanheim focus on positive community work.

The new community leadership

In the newly formed community lead, some well -known faces take on responsibility alongside Schwarzmüller. Nicolas Scheiwe remains the first deputy and Lorenz Steigner as the second deputy on board. Nicole Cherie-Kerner, who now holds the position as the third deputy, is new to the management team. This constellation promises to continue the previous successful cooperation and a smooth transition to the next term.

Currently, the renewal of the village center is at the top of the agenda. Herbert Schwarzmüller announced that the work should be completed in the coming weeks, so that the newly designed village square can be used in good time to the Kerwe, which will be celebrated from September 20th to September 23. This event is not only an important part of the annual village company, but also a wonderful opportunity for the residents to come together and to strengthen the sense of community.

Another aspect that employs the new administration is the empty village café. The community is actively looking for a tenant to breathe new life into this place. The village café has played a central role in Schwanheim's social life in the past and the return to a lively meeting point would be of great importance for the villagers.

The choice of Herbert Schwarzmüller and the composition of the new municipal council are more than just political decisions. They show the strength of the community in Schwanheim and their commitment to the further development and maintenance of the traditional values of the place. The trust that citizens put in their elected representatives is a positive signal for the future of the small community.
