Moped accident in Zella-Mehlis: 16-year-old seriously injured!

On Saturday afternoon there was a serious traffic accident between Zella-Mehlis and Benshausen. A 16-year-old moped driver slipped onto the opposite trip in a curve and collided head-on with the car of a 39-year-old driver. The young driver suffered serious injuries and was immediately taken to the hospital.

Fortunately, the driver was unharmed. The damage to the moped is irreparable, while property damage of around 8,000 euros was caused by the car.
