Bizarre accident in Gera: 19-year-old overturns with BMW!
A serious accident occurred last night, on October 3, 2024, on the L3002 between Großebersdorf and Gera. A 19-year-old BMW driver lost control of his vehicle during an overtaking process, skidded and drove into a ditch via the opposite lane. The car overturned and remained totally damaged.
The fire brigade, emergency services and police were quickly on site. The young driver was taken to the hospital with the ambulance, while the road was completely closed at short notice due to the accident. The Gera police started the investigation into the course of the accident.
