Driver without a driver's license: drug control on the Ohrdrufer Straße!

A 44-year-old man was stopped in Gotha yesterday during a traffic control on the Ohrdrufer Strasse. The officials found that the driver had no valid driver's license and was presumably under the influence of drugs. A drugnoted drug showed a positive result on cannabis.

The police prevented the man from continuing, took blood from him and initiated an investigation against him. The incident throws a bright light on the increasing problems with drugs in road traffic and shows the determination of the police to rigorously pursue such violations.
