Shock accident between Meiningen and Walldorf-two seriously injured!

On Wednesday morning, October 9, 2024, a serious traffic accident occurred on the country road between Meiningen and Walldorf. A 32-year-old driver lost control in a curve for unexplained reasons and collided head-on with the car of a 51-year-old woman. The force of the impact hurled both vehicles against the guardrail and from the road, while a subsequent driver could no longer slow down in time and went through the damaged cars, which also led to property damage on their vehicle.

The two main participants, the 32-year-old and the 51-year-old, suffered serious injuries and were immediately taken to the hospital. A third driver was slightly injured. The country road was completely closed for almost two hours, while the police took up the accident and the towing service removed the cars that were no longer ready to drive. The total damage is estimated at around 20,000 euros.
