Serious accident in Meiningen: 68-year-old cyclist injured in the collision

On Sunday afternoon there was a serious accident in Meiningen! An 81-year-old driver wanted to turn left from the street "Am Weidig" to Landsberger Straße, but she overlooked a privileged 68-year-old cyclist who came towards her. The collision was violent, the cyclist fell and injured himself.

The emergency services immediately called for help and took the injured man to the hospital, where he was treated. Fortunately, the driver was not injured, and there was only low damage to property. Another alarming incident on our streets!
