On Friday evening, a serious accident occurred in the eastern district of Sömmerda. A 14-year-old driver of a light power bike, without a helmet and without a driver's license, lost control of her vehicle in a curve and fell. While the passenger, also 14 years old, was only slightly injured, the driver had to be flown to a hospital with a rescue helicopter because she was seriously injured.
