A tragic traffic accident occurred this morning in the Sömmerda district. At around 10:00 a.m., a 72-year-old man wanted to turn on an economic path by car, but overlooked an oncoming car in which a 35-year-old woman and her 6-year-old daughter sat. The collision was inevitable!

The senior suffered serious injuries in the collision and had to be medical care immediately. Fortunately, the woman and her child got away with minor injuries, but also needed medical help on site. Due to the accident, the country road was temporarily completely closed to treat the injured and recover the vehicles. A terrifying incident that once again illustrates the dangers in road traffic!
