On Wednesday evening there was a dramatic traffic accident on the country road between Rotterode and Struth-Helmershof. A 43-year-old driver lost control of her vehicle in a right-hand bend for reasons that have not yet been clarified. The car overturned and remained next to the street, which caused considerable excitement.

Both the driver and her 16-year-old passenger had to be transported to the hospital immediately by the ambulance. The amount of property damage is currently still unknown, while a towing service secures the accident. The police are now investigating the exact background of the incident.
