Cyclists leaves accident drivers with two cars - who is to blame?

on 02.10.2024, around 4:15 p.m., an exciting traffic accident occurred on Schwanseestrasse in Jena. The drivers of a Suzuki and an Opel wanted to turn into Florian-Geyer-Straße on the right when a cyclist suddenly drove across the pedestrian path without stopping. The driver of the Suzuki had to slow down, which led to a collision with the Opel, which could not stop in time due to the too small safety distance. Both vehicles suffered considerable property damage.

The cyclist, who is responsible for this incident, left the accident site behind without comment and fled. The police are looking for witnesses who can provide information about the cyclist.
