Inclusion in Tirschenreuth: Action plan for a fairer future

The district of Tirschenreuth passed a pioneering action plan for inclusion in May, which outlines the current circumstances and future goals for the participation of people with disabilities. This action plan represents a clear obligation by the district and municipalities to take the concerns of disadvantaged groups seriously and to actively promote their integration into the design of the district.

The plan was created through close cooperation with various actors, including municipalities, affected, experts and interested parties. In cooperation with the basic institute, a tax group has formulated specific measures that cover areas such as education, employment, accessibility, political participation as well as leisure and leisure and health. The regular review and further development of the action plan should ensure that Tirschenreuth is developing as an inclusive district.
