Modern shooting ranges in Mitterteich: a high on the shooting club!

A big moment for the royal privilege of the shooting club Mitterteich: On Saturday, the brand new state -of -the -art shooting range for air rifle and pistol was ceremoniously opened! Thanks to over 300 hours of voluntary work and an investment of 40,000 euros, 40 percent of which were funded, twelve fully electronic shooting ranges are now available. Rifle master Peter Süß is thrilled: "We now have one of the most modern air pressure stands in Bavaria!"

The old shooting range was no longer up to date and was replaced by this innovative equipment, which enables the shooters to pursue their results on a monitor in real time. Mayor Stefan Grillmeier and other guests of honor were present at the opening and praised the commitment of the club members, which made this milestone possible. Youth work is now to be intensified in order to gain new talents for shooting sports, with children from the age of six in particular being promoted at the new light rifle stands. Special highlights of the new facility are the option of calling up results via an app, and the invitation to the public to get to know the club at the coming family day.
