in Tirschenreuth was opened again for traffic after the renovation work on the bridge over the Mühlbach in November 2023, Franz-Böhm-Gasse.

Franz-Böhm-Gasse runs between the freshly designed Mühlbachpark and the La Ville du Bois square. During the renovation, not only the bridge over the Mühlbach was renewed, but also laid new lines, the alley was newly paved, two additional parking spaces were created and the street lighting renewed. Further plantings are planned for early autumn 2023, as the city of Tirschenreuth announced in a press release.

The total costs for the construction work amounted to 1.1 million euros. A grant of 600,000 euros was approved for the project.

"The completion of the Franz-Böhm-Gasse now enables a seamless connection between the award-winning Mühlbachpark and the La Ville du Bois Square," emphasized Mayor Franz Stahl during the reopening. The entire environment has gained quality and offers the citizens and visitors an even more attractive and safer area in the heart of Tirschenreuth.
