Popular youth center celebrates anniversary: a day full of memories!

The St. Leonhard youth center celebrated its 50th anniversary with a festive open day. The event began with a prayer, led by representatives of the BDKJ and municipal officer Martin Riedl, who discussed a touching Bible passage to underline the positive experiences of young people in the house. The service was musically framed by the group »Zamm-Gloant« from Teisendorf.

youth officer Melanie Sterkel emphasized the close cooperation with the Kuratie and the Archbishop's Youth Welfare Office in Munich, which supports the youth center significantly. In her greetings, Georgia Melchner, head of the youth officer, honored the dedication of caretaker Irmengard Posch, whose care has received the facility over the years. Daily activities included a creative program for children and adolescents, while the members of the BDKJ took care of the physical well -being with coffee and cake.
