The fire brigade was able to intervene quickly and prevent the flames from spreading to adjacent apartments and businesses. Fortunately, there were no injuries, but more than 35 people from the multi -party house had to be evacuated. The building is uninhabitable for the time being, and the property damage is estimated on a medium six-digit euro amount.

The investigation into the cause of the fire was immediately accepted by the Traunreut police and later by fire investigators from the Traunstein criminal police. So far there is no evidence of intentional arson. During the mission, the Bavarian Red Cross helped with 37 emergency services and provided a care center for the evacuated residents, as they are unlikely to return to their apartments.
