Anniversary of the Inzell horticultural association: 100 years of green tradition celebrate!

Inzell, Deutschland - Inzell experienced a festive highlight at the autumn meeting of the Traunstein district association for garden culture and state care e.V., where the horticultural association Inzell-Hammer-Weißbach celebrated its 100th anniversary. The ballroom was festively decorated and the members were honored for their impressive performance. District chairman Andreas Korte presented a voucher for an anniversary tree and a new spade to support the commitment of the active people.

Mayor Michael Lorenz praised the excellent membership development of the 51 fruit and horticultural associations in the district, which now count 16,421 members. This corresponds to a net growth of 267 people compared to the previous year. The positive response to the customs lectures by Dorothea Steinbacher, who captivated the audience with her knowledge of plants and customs in autumn, was particularly gratifying.

The event also offered an outlook on upcoming activities, including fruit tree training in 2025 and the district award "Gardening in a small space". The anticipation of the next events is great and the members are motivated to further promote the commitment to garden culture. More information about this is here to be found.
