The focus is on disaster protection: This is how our region remains safe!

Mayor Martin Bartlweber and other local representatives recently discussed the crucial role of disaster protection in Seebruck. At an information event, Gisela Sengl, the chairwoman of the Greens, emphasized the urgency of the topic in the face of climate change and the associated extreme weather. Over 70 spectators, including fire and DLRG board members, were present and reported on their experiences.

They praised the well -equipped fire departments in the region and the successful cooperation during the latest flood events on Lake Chiemsee. Florian Appelt from the district office declared the Bavarian disaster protection law and the necessary measures in the event of an emergency. He pointed out the importance of the Warn app Nina and asked the citizens to actively prepare for disasters.

A serious topic was also addressed: the increasing disrespect of emergency services. Witnesses reported attacks on firefighters during their missions. The event closed with a call for cooperation for environmental protection and the training of young people in first aid in order to continue to be prepared for crisis situations in the future.
