The connection of art and agriculture: flower pictures in the district of Traunstein

The creative idea of Christian Seebauer and his team has opened a new chapter in Waging am See. Innovative approaches in horticulture create impressive works of flowers from flowers that not only beautify the landscape, but also benefit the environment and agriculture. The protagonists of this project are the 200,000 sunflowers planted on an eight hectare field.

When you look at the corn field near the Panoramaof Stief, it usually looks very like at first glance. However, the perspective changes with a drone that is controlled by Christian Seebauer. It quickly becomes clear that a huge bee and the letters "SHH" form in the field - a logo that stands for both the company Geoxip and for the agriculture of Sepp Hastreiter.

The emergence of flower art

The idea of flower images goes back to the study time of Christian Seebauer. With his technical understanding from the study of electrical engineering and a graduate topic about GPS in agricultural technology, he realized his vision. Together with farmer Sepp Hastreiter, the operator of this field, he promotes a sustainable project that combines tradition and innovation.

sustainable advertising by flowers

The Geoxip business model aims to design logos and messages in the form of flower images. The benefits for companies are that they can not only put their brand in the foreground, but also make a contribution to the environment. "Companies can observe the flower project for a long time and take their customers with them," explains Seebauer.

environmental impacts and biodiversity

A central concern of the project is to promote biodiversity. For example, a field with 21 million wild plants was created for Telekom, including rare species that are on the Red List. These projects not only help the environment, but also offer farmers the opportunity to manage their areas sustainably.

advantages for farmers and nature

Sepp Hastreiter emphasizes that the flower images both improve the image of agriculture and offer the opportunity to use alternative cultivation methods such as mechanical weed control. "In addition, there are financial incentives for using the area, which has a lucrative effect for farmers," added Seebauer. These income offer security because they are independent of the weather conditions.

A growing interest in flower images

The concept of flower images is increasingly received. Farmers from all over Germany and Austria show interest in this new way of agriculture. Geoxip has now set up a database in which companies can choose the right field. This creates an ongoing cycle of art, economy and environmental protection-a real win-win situation for everyone involved
