The work is on schedule and the completion is planned for this year. 16 new trees are to be planted in November, and the new benches will follow in spring. A highlight will be the new fountain area surrounded by trees and equipped with a drinking water well. The paving stones are laid in a non -slip fishbear pattern, which makes it easier for all citizens, including rollator drivers. Hümmer also made it clear that more than half of the construction costs of around four million euros are financed by funding, which makes the measure particularly cost -effective.
