Rescue in the region: 20,000 euros for Traunsteiner disaster protection!

Traunstein, Deutschland - The Traunstein district has decided to grant the Red Cross for disaster protection a grant of 20,000 euros. This is done after the district association has raised over 208,000 euros last year for the maintenance of its disaster protection facilities. "The BRK ensures people's security - an immense performance," said District Administrator Siegfried Walch. The majority of these costs were covered by grants and donations.

In addition, the youth fire brigades in the district were funded with a total of 17,000 euros, which corresponds to 17 euros per youthful member. This affects around 1007 active young firefighters. Walch praised the valuable work of the youth center and described the youth fire brigades as "an unlikely beneficial history". In other decisions, orders for the general renovation of several schools in Traunstein and Trostberg were also awarded with total costs in the millions. These decisions aim to improve the educational infrastructure in the district, reports www.traunsteiner-tagblatt.de .
