A very special concert experience awaited visitors in the magnificent Salin chapel St. Rupert and Maximilian at the music summer between Inn and Salzach. This time the focus was on the connection of organ and brass music and delighted the audience in the historical church room.

The Grassau brass, consisting of Matthias Linke and Konrad Müller on the trumpet, Katharina Waldherr am Horn and Johann Schmuck on the bass trombone, formed a virtuoso quartet that enchanted the audience with his full sound volume. They were supported by the two renowned organists from Traunstein, Manfred Müller and Matthias Bertelshofer, who provided impressive accompaniment to the imposing March organ.

The varied program ranged from pieces of unknown composers such as Siegfried Karg-Elert to well-known works by Beethoven and Mendelssohn Bartholdy. The musical diversity and the virtuoso interplay of organ and winds create a unique atmosphere in the chapel.

After a quarter of an hour full of demanding music, the musicians and organists received thunderous applause and applause. As an encore, the touching choral "Now thank you all God" before the audience could enjoy the mild summer evening afterwards.
