Salzburg students inspire through industrial excursion

As part of an industrial excursion, students from the University of Salzburg recently visited the companies Rosenberger Hochfrequenztechnik GmbH & Co. KG in Fridolfing and Novatasten GmbH in Freilassing. This annual excursion aims to present regional companies and their products and processes in order to inspire prospective specialists for a career in the region. In addition to company visits, the students had the opportunity to exchange ideas on site with experts about theses, internships and potential career paths. The event was organized by Chiemgau GmbH Wirtschaftsförderung, the Berchtesgadener Land Wirtschaftservice, the Salzburg Industrial Association, the Euregio Salzburg - Berchtesgadener Land - Traunstein and the University of Salzburg.

The excursion began in Fridolfing at Rosenberger GmbH & Co. KG, a world market leader for connection solutions in high-frequency, fiber optics and high-voltage technology. With 15,000 employees worldwide, including around 3,300 at the Fridolfing location, the students received an insight into the company and were able to be impressed by the current production technologies. Then the path to Novataste GmbH led her to Freilassing, where spices from all over the world have been refined since 1947. On a tour of the production facilities, the young people gained further exciting insights into the world of work.
