Taching's offspring shines with flying colors at the youth performance badge!
Taching am See, Deutschland - Six talented young firefighters from Taching recently successfully faced the youth performance badge. After intensive weeks of training, Leander Mayer and Laurens Düttra mastered the challenging requirements without errors. Mayor Stefanie Lang and Commandant Michael Lechner warmly congratulated the young fire heroes when it comes to the announcement of the results, which took place in a small ceremony.
The youth performance badge is considered one of the most demanding exams in the fire brigade and includes practical tasks and an extensive questionnaire. Among other things, the test subjects had to create knots and stitches, build a fire attack with the bucket injection and lay a hose reserve. All participants convinced with impressive performance and received the coveted youth clip, a visible sign of their achievements. Mayer and Düttra were particularly praised for their flawless implementation, a rarity that district fire chief Georg Fleischer took note of. Many thanks also went to the instructors who made a decisive contribution to the training, as reported www.chiemgau24.de .
