A worrying incident at the Tüttensee: Dangerous broken glass violates bathers

A disturbing event in the lean of the Tütten lake near Grabenstätt heated the minds on Sunday afternoon. Three bathers, including two men and a boy, were seriously injured by a sharp glass breakage that was presumably deliberately put into the water.

The dramatic injuries and the quick reaction

The wax team of the water guard was called to the incident within a few hours. The injured had to be first looked after on site and two of them were later treated in the hospital to sew their cuts. These quick medical measures could probably prevent worse things.

According to Hans Kaulfuß from the water guard, there is suspicion that someone has intentionally placed this sharp, brown broken glass to injure bathers.
