Shock on the L 132: truck threatens abyss after dangerous maneuvers!
Saarburg-Kahren, Deutschland - On October 30, 2024, around 1:00 p.m. on the L 132 between Saarburg and the Kahren district, a dramatic traffic accident occurred. An unknown car came to the opposite lane after a sharp right -hand bend, which had to avoid an oncoming truck. The truck lost control, got off the road and was in acute risk of falling into a steeply sloping terrain. Thanks to the rapid reaction of the fire brigade and the THW, the truck could be secured and recovered with a car crane.
Fortunately, no one was injured in this incident. However, the road between Saarburg and Kahn was completely closed from 1:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. while the salvage was carried out. A total of around 60 emergency services, including firefighters from several places and the Saarburg police inspection, were on site.
