Adventure in the forest: 200 children experience unforgettable holidays in Trassem
Trassem organized an exciting event for children this summer vacation that put the love of nature and the adventure spirit in the foreground. Around 200 children from the Trier-Saarburg district experienced an exciting program that was filled with creativity and sense of community. The popular holiday forest weeks took place for the 18th time, and the Motto "On an adventurous treasure hunt in the forest" were one of the highlights of this event.
In the middle of the impressive nature around the Trassem Waldderlebniszentrum, the boys and girls enthusiastically ran around while they were looking for treasures. In cooperation with the Saarburg Forest Office and the local community, the Waldjugend Trassem had put together an exciting program that aroused the children's curiosity and actively included them in nature.
creativity and teamwork in the forest experience
With a dedicated team of 26 supervisors, the participants were able to explore many different projects. From handicrafts to various games - the activities were designed to promote the creativity of the children. In particular, the game idea of the treasure hunt met with great enthusiasm and was developed independently by the children. This not only created a close connection to nature, but also a feeling of belonging and team spirit.
An important aspect of the holiday forest weeks was the safe environment in which the children could experience their adventures. The support team ensured that the activities run smoothly, so that the little discoverers were at all times safely and happy. These two weeks in nature not only offered the children the opportunity to let off steam, but also to learn valuable lessons about the respectful use of the environment.
The big final party: a highlight of the adventure
The big final party was undoubtedly the highlight of the holiday forest weeks. On the last evening, a feast took place on a blackboard over 30 meters long in the heart of the forest. A total of 130 children could meet on this special opportunity and eat together. This opportunity not only offered the opportunity to reflect on the experiences of the past two weeks, but also to celebrate the newly closed friendships.
Before the feast began, the children took an exciting night hike that gave them deep into the secrets of the forest. To spend the night under the protective leaf roof of the forest, represented a crowning conclusion of the exciting week and left lasting memories with all participants.
As a special appreciation for their enthusiasm and their commitment, the children received a certificate at the end of the event. This diploma -like award was not only a simple piece of paper, but also a sign of the many valuable experiences that they had gained. The holiday forest weeks in Trassem will certainly remain in a long-lasting memory and the anticipation for next year is already growing.
