Sensitive reading in Trier: comfort and hope for grieving parents
On Thursday, November 7, 2024, a moving reading on the subject of grief for deceased children takes place in the Trier city library. It starts at 7 p.m. at the Domfreihof 1b. Renowned readers Klaus-Michael Nix and Jana Auburger present a selection of sensitive specialist and picture books that focus on comfort and sensitive use of loss. This event is organized by the Stiller Stern Trier e.V. association, who supports people who have suffered the painful loss of a child.
The reading also opens up a book and photo exhibition lasting several weeks, which can be seen until February 1, 2025. The visitors are invited to browse the exhibits and deal with the feelings of grief. Admission is free, but a prior registration is requested by November 6, 2024 because the seats are limited.
