Brüssel, Belgien - The Trier University of Applied Sciences was hosting the 18th EU strategy day of the University Rectors' Conference (HRK) in Brussels, which took place on October 16 and 17. Professor Dorit Schumann, President of the Trier University of Applied Sciences and HRK Vice President, moderated a workshop on the subject of social innovation and advocated smaller consortia that give researchers more freedom to define their research questions independently.
