An incident that endangered security on our streets occurred in the afternoon of July 12, 2024 on the route between Konz-Konklingen and Konz, more precisely at the concert mountain. A gray BMW and a cream-colored SUV were involved in a traffic accident, in which the SUV driver removed from the scene of the accident after the incident.

The driver of the BMW had to avoid to the right in an acute situation to avoid a collision with the oncoming SUV. Unfortunately, the BMW was damaged on the right side of the vehicle. It is worrying that the driver of the SUV did not remain on the spot to exchange the necessary information and to support the police measures.

In order to clarify what has happened and to take account of the person responsible, witnesses are asked to contact the Konz police station urgently. By helping and statements by witnesses, it can be contributed to the fact that such traffic accidents are avoided in the future and that the safety of all road users is guaranteed.
