After a well-founded training at the conservatory in Strasbourg and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris, where he was taught by renowned teachers, he was appointed organist at the Notre-Dame in Paris at the age of 25. Today he is a titular organist at the famous Cavaillé-Coll organ in Nancy and conveys his knowledge as a professor of organ.
