Trier Mayor as a guest: Cultural and exchange weekend in Weimar

In a significant exchange, guests from the twin town of Trier in Weimar arrived on Friday. Mayor Wolfram Leibe (SPD) and a seven -member delegation, consisting of specialist colleagues from a wide range of areas such as city councils and town twinning, represent the Moselle city up to and including Sunday in the cultural city of Weimar.

The start was a town hall tour by Weimar's mayor Peter Kleine, followed by comprehensive work talks between the delegations. The weekend promises exciting insights: a city tour, a visit to the theater and an excursion to the Buchenwald memorial are on the program, as the Weimar city administration reports. This visit strengthens relationships between the two cities and promotes the technical exchange.
