The alleged perpetrator, a 56-year-old man, has a tragic story. Five years ago, he left Poland in the hope of finding a new chance in Germany. He was a trained carpenter and carpenter, but his living conditions had changed dramatically. His marriage had failed, and without a place of residence he went into the cycle of homelessness. The burglary and its consequences

In April 2022, the man broke into the lonely house of the couple when they were visiting relatives at Lake Constance. He got into the inside through a bathing bath window and stole a laptop, an iPad, cash and even food in addition to a golden Apple Watch. "Bananas, sausage, and even the chocolate coupon was missing," recalled the woman. The damage added up to over 3000 euros. The break -in not only left material damage, but also psychological traces of the couple.

The agreement of his DNA, which the investigators was amazed at: "1: 415 trillions" was particularly remarkable, the exact number was, the judge Beate Philipp read from the documents of the State Criminal Police Office. The man had already conflict with the law in Duisburg and Würzburg and was therefore pre -contaminated. Nevertheless, he was aware of his actions and confessed.

The judicial consequences

However, an open question remains: Where are the missing stolen objects? So far, only the laptop has reappeared. The accused said by an interpreter that the Apple Watch and other personal things could still be with the police in Duisburg.
