Colorful kite festival in Göritz: an autumn pleasure for young and old!

The 6th kite festival in Göritz attracted numerous visitors in bright weather. The volunteer fire brigade converted the large meadow between Malchow and Göritz into a colorful spectacle, where children, parents and grandparents let their kites climb together. "I think the festival is totally beautiful because young and old come together here," said an enthusiastic participant. While the little dragon pilots ran around, elderly spectators like Edmund Frank also enjoyed gathering their families.

The firefighters were not only responsible for walking dragon, but also took care of the physical well -being with coffee and sausages. New this year was the support of the newly founded support association, which made a major contribution to the organization with over 60 members. The attractions also included goal wall shooting and face painting. Every child who let a kite flies received a homemade wooden medal as a memory of this colorful autumn day.
