Jan Genschow waives a mandate, Chair of LTG takes over
new responsibility for Jan Genschow in Lychen
Jan Genschow laid his mandate for the city council (SVV) after the local elections in Lychen. He justified this decision with professional changes, which means that he will no longer officially work as a city councilor.
Nevertheless, Genschow emphasized that he will not withdraw from the voluntary local political work. On the contrary, he will continue to be active in the "Lychen Tut well" voters and take on more responsibility.
A familiar contact person for the citizens
Jan Genschow will take the chair again in the electoral community and will be available to the citizens of the city and their districts as a confidante contact. During the last legislative period, he already held this post, but gave it it away when the LTG became the most powerful parliamentary group in the SVV. Instead, he took over the function of the parliamentary group leader. In the new SVV, in which the LTG has four members, Tobias Schween acts as parliamentary group leader.
Genschow's decision to continue his voluntary work in Lychen shows his commitment to the community and his interest in continuously participating in local political processes, even without an official mandate.
