Cycling spectacle: Children conquer the Templin stadium with SV Lok and Kreissportbund
"Bicycle enthusiasm in the stadium: Local action brings children and families together"
Inspired by the bike enthusiasm, which is becoming increasingly popular in the region, the SV Lok Templin and the sports youth of the district sports association Uckermark together organized a cycling event in the impressive Templin stadium. Under the motto "active together", 21 children and their families were able to take part in this premiere and were thrilled by the extensive offer.
"Several age groups, a common goal"
To give all children the opportunity to do sports, various races were organized in four age groups. From the AK five to six to AK eleven to twelve, stadium rounds were completed, which not only aroused the ambition of the small participants, but also put their bicycle skills to the test. Under the direction of the motivating cycling trainer Frank Sperber, the children achieved top performances and enjoyed any moment of the sporting event.
"rewards and motivation for the participants"
Before the races, the children had the opportunity to go through a skill course that put their bike control to the test. After the competitions, the winners were awarded medals and documents in every age group, which were presented to them by Klaus Fermum, the coaching veteran of SV Lok. In addition, all participants received small gifts from the Winkler bicycle service as a thank you for their participation.
The first places even had the opportunity to enjoy free club membership at SV Lok Templin by the end of the year, which was an incentive for other children to join the club. Kristin Schenk also emphasized the diverse activities of Frank Sperber, who is not only active in the club, but also leads working groups at various schools in the area to arouse enthusiasm for cycling among young people.
