Rescue workers practice dramatic accident rescue in Haßleben: Red alarm level!

In a dramatic training, the fire brigades of Haßleben and Gerswalde trained for the emergency, in which the terrible scenario of a serious traffic accident was simulated. Eleven volunteers were used as injuries, including high school students and a trainee who provided realistic make -up presentation. The focus of the exercise was on technical assistance and cooperation in critical situations in order to optimally prepare the emergency services for emergencies such as the recent bus accident in Dresden, in which 30 people were sometimes seriously injured.

In the course of the exercise, an accident was simulated in which a 40-ton scenery void rolled over a cyclist, which led to further collapsing vehicles. Firefighters and rescue workers worked in a team structure to free the injured as quickly as possible. "A certain discomfort was felt by everyone," said Wolfram Hoppe, who led the exercise. In the event of an inlet and adverse weather conditions, however, the demanding association exercise was successfully completed. Further information on this event is find .
