Uckermark relies on sustainable tourism: new concepts from 2024!

Uckermark, Deutschland - TMU Tourismus Marketing Uckermark GmbH has initiated a new tourism concept, which is to be developed from January 2024 to December 2025. The aim of this conception is to create a clear strategy for sustainable quality tourism in the Uckermark. The new planning will serve as a framework of action for all actors in the tourism sector and is intended to set binding goals and priorities. Sustainable natural tourism is particularly the focus, explains Anet Hoppe from TMU.

A kick-off workshop on February 1, 2024 has already taken place, in which representatives of tourist offices, operators of tourist offers and interested citizens discussed the current situation of Uckermark tourism. TMU GmbH plans to anchor the conception politically in the district council in order to promote a uniform vision for the region. Further workshops are planned by the end of 2025 to ensure broad participation and further develop the tourist destinations of the Uckermark.
