A lot of good tour: Volunteering in Templin u. Make the commitment visible!

At the Templin weekly market, the "Much Gut Tour" attracts attention and actively promotes volunteering. The pavilion, under which a Uckermark animal rescue car is located, attracts curious passers -by, who are talking to the project managers Anna Scheibe and Oliver Roesner. The aim of the initiative is to make the commitment of the volunteers more visible in rural regions and to focus on the numerous positive contributions of the citizens, according to Scheibe.

The "Much Gut Tour" is organized by the non -profit organization Phineo and comprises ten stops in German small towns. Templin is viewed as the start of this series to promote local initiatives and clubs. During the market, numerous organizations, including the animal rescue Uckermark and NABU, took the opportunity to present their work and to establish new contacts. According to Pascal Neumann, head of the animal rescue, the day was successful, with intensive discussions about possible cooperation. Thomas Volpers from NABU notes that the interest in volunteer work in the region is great and that many citizens are willing to get involved.
